According to Hardin County Sheriff Mark Davis the HCSO is currently working a shooting involving a Hardin County Deputy Sheriff. Authorities are on the scene at 2116 Villa Rd in Kountze. The deceased suspect in this incident has been identified as Joshua Chase Conner (pictured), 31 from Kountze.. The Involved Deputy is not injured. The Texas Rangers have been requested to the scene to assist in the investigation. This is an initial information release. More to follow as soon as practical.
