According to Lumberton PD Chief Danny Sullins on Thursday, November 7. Officer Blake Rice pulled over a white Ford pickup truck on the corner of highway 69 and Cobblestone for an expired registration tag that had been out since 2016.
Officer Rice discovered that the driver had an active warrant out of Jefferson County for harassment and placed him under arrest.
Officer Rice began to inventory the vehicle and located 58.8 grams of methamphetamine and a “meth pipe” inside the vehicle.
Buckley Aubey, 45, of Hamshire, was arrested and charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, a 1st Degree Felony along with his preexisting warrant and he was transported to the Hardin County Jail.
