Hardin County 4-H Clover Kids give back to the Community!

Hardin County 4-H Clover Kids give back to the Community! December has been a busy month for the Hardin County 4-H Clover Kids and 4-H Members with giving back to the community! With the help of the 4-H members, families & friends, the Clover Kids stuffed 39 Stockings to be donated to the Hardin County Crime Victims Assistance Center for distribution. Their did not stop with the stockings, the Clover Kids conducted a sock drive for the Hardin County Crime Victims Assistance Center along with a blanket drive to spread Christmas Cheer and warmth to residents at the Kountze Nursing Home. A total of 301 pairs of socks were donated to the Hardin County Crime Victims Assistance Center to be distributed as needed. Clovers collected 56 blankets and delivered them on December 5th with smiles, Christmas Carols and candy canes. Their hopes for this Christmas were to spread warmth, cheer and compassion this year and for many years to come. If you see a 4-H Clover Kid or a Hardin County 4-H Member please give them a pat on the back for doing such a wonderful job. As the New Year begins, stay tuned for more to come from this great group of kids, the sky is the limit for these kids! Anyone wishing to join the Hardin County 4-H Clover Kids (K-2nd Grade), become a 4-H Member or become a volunteer, you may do so by contacting the Hardin County Extension Office at 409-246-5128.
